If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

ive been trying to find herbal anti-inflammatories that are easy on the stomach, and that dont hvae othe side effects. Ashwagandha seems to provide some relief and also makes you feel relaxed which strangely seems to help rather than hinder my fatigue. I think ginger is probably better, but it aint bad when you are in pain but dont want to take a NSAID, perhaps talk to your doc about it.

I really like the calming effects of ashwagandha but I discontinued use when I read that it is not recommended for people with autoimmune disease. "Increased immune system activity may occur following treatment with ashwagandha. Consequently, adults with any type of autoimmune disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis or lupus, should not take this supplement. Improper use of ashwagandha may make your disease symptoms worse." See for example: http://www.livestrong.com/article/392474-who-should-not-take-ashwagandha/#ixzz2RJlkQQxC

Thanks so much for caution on ashwaganda. I've been taking it and will now think twice. I agree, tumeric is excellent for inflammation - one of the few herbal treatments I've found to have a noticable effect.

I've been taking tbsp fulls of it daily to combat inflammation. I lift weights 5x a week. I'd hate for my progress to be lowered due to the turmeric.

See for example: http://www.livestrong.com/article/392474-who-should-not-take-ashwagandha/#ixzz2RJlkQQxC Autoimmunity can be Th1 dominant or Th2 dominant. If your autoimmune disease is Th2 dominant (adrenals) you can benefit from ashwagandha. See the article linked for an explanation. http://www.meta-ehealth.com/site/office/...amp;article=328Violeta

How do you determine if your AS condition is Th1 or Th2? Have not heard of this before.
