Our house and 2 acres was foreclosed a year ago (SSDI came through, but not enough or in time) and we've been homeless since August. We've moved 7 times since April.
Today I found our house and 2 acres for sale online for a fraction of what we were paying for it, the payment would be about $120.month, and my dad is talking to the real estate agent and mortgage people. He's got great credit and can put some cash down on it, and he's making an offer tomorrow morning as soon as the credit union gives him a letter of approval for the $25,000. If it works, we would take over payments, pay him back the down payment, and he'd sell it to us for $1 when his loan is paid off.
We might get our home back.
Prayers, please. I am genuinely begging for all prayers, kind thoughts, white light, pixie dust and any other well-intentioned energy to go with my dad tomorrow when he makes the offer. This would be . . . twenty years' worth of good luck for my little family, and heaven knows we could use it now. The schools there are fantastic compared to the hellish schools here, I don't want my daughter growing up where we get spit on for being white. I can grow ANYTHING there, the water isn't poisonous, the neighborhood drunk is a MUCH nicer guy, who respects my husband's desire to stay sober and won't try to grab my boob or Bailey's butt(unlike THIS neighborhood drunk,)there are many reasons we liked it there. We would be able to start up Cody's FFL again. There are daily AA meetings, it's an equidistant drive to Cody's job and our wonderful doctor, and my fantastic peach tree is there. And, my mother is NOT there.
I'm just . . . asking for prayers, please.
Love,
Bridget

Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year.

Bridget

If there is anyone out there who deserves a break it is you and your family. I really hope everything goes well tomorrow.
