If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hey, Johnny:
Well, I wish I did not have to see You here, but on some level glad to have You still around.
Yeah, AS is a constant--daily--struggle.
Hope You get over the flare quickly and I would tell You how but You already know everything I would tell You!
HEALTH, John

Hey Tim,
Good to see you! I'm unfortunately for Auburn, which was good in 2010 with Cam, but really bad this year! My wife is for Bama, which makes things all the more tough at 1-7. If we don't beat New Mexico State tomorrow, I'm changing our war cry from "War Eagle" to "Poor Eagle!"

It came, and I got my stick. I had forgotten how bad it burns! Still not better today, but I hope it won't be long before it starts working.
Nice to see you!

John,
Thanks for the kind words! You would be happy to know that even though I am not completely starch-free, I have been eating much more healthily over the past few years. I am now under 200lbs for the first time since my early 20s! I also have pretty much cut fried foods out 90% of the time. In addition to AS, I have now been diagnosed with pretty severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea, and I cannot stand the "Darth Vader Mask," so weight control is a big deal in managing it.
You know what, my healthy eating and weight control definitely have helped my AS as well, and I can always tell when I backslide, especially with fried food and my worst weakness of all french fries (of course- high starch).
I do hope you are doing well!
Johnny

Hey Lon!
I'm glad to see you are still around this place. Your humor is one of the best medicines I ever found when I was at my lowest with this disease!
As for me, life is busy as usual. With three teenage sons (one now in college), it is always hectic. My oldest is in his college's marching band, and therefore we have season tickets for all the football games, so my Saturdays are as non-stop as my weeks!
Hope you are doing well!
Johnny

Hey Johnny,
Sorry to read that you are in a bad flare but great to read how much Humira had been helping you. Hopefully you can get back on it or another biologic and have more strong results.
Maybe you will kick it away. Can't hurt to dream.

Johnny, What kind of side effects do you think the Humira was giving you? When I was on it my legs seemed to ache a lot, more than they usually do. Hope you get some relief soon.Take care!
Diet change has improved my RA. I feel best eating raw veggies and some fruits and avoiding grains, sugars, nightshades, beans and dairy. Sed rate dropped from 65 to 19, but it took over a year. www.fatsickandnearlydead.com excess fat/oils = pain for me recipes for raw food on Youtube "raw food romance" and "healing josephine" Josephine is in remission from RA after two years by change diet/exercise
