I hope everyone does take precautions against Hurricane Sandy(Frankenstorm).
Please be safe and keep updated with the news about worsening winds rain,and power outages.I live in Ontario Canada,and we are feeling the horrid affects here already.

Thank you, fonzy. I am north of Philadelphia, and we are still fine here, but not far west of us a state of emergency has been declared. It's in the county where my daughter works, but her school was closed today. I see that the Great Lakes may be affected, too, but maybe Ontario is not where the flooding is supposed to occur. Be safe!

We had a lot of big trees down on our street. Our largest pine tree came down and incredibly did not hit our house. It fell away from it's lean onto a clear path between our house and our shed. I still can't believe it! The wind was terrible at a little over 50mph,I can't imagine what it would be like with the wind over 100mph as it was reported to be in some areas. Our house was actually shaking from the big gusts.

Pray all the Kickers are safe, I know SteveC and Linc are in NYC metro area.
Cannot believe all the images I am seeing...so much water.
I lived in Midwest and had tornados hit near by and saw the damage and I lived in Florida for 2 years and had tropical storm pass overhead and hurricane pass within 50 miles.... have to say hurricanes scare me much more.
Kickers do not need anything more to worry about, hopefully Linc and Steve can drop us a note as well as others I am forgetting.

Power going to be out for at least two more days here. Kunda a mess. 12 massive trees fell in yard. All missing the house. Roads closed and no power in any nearby areas. Still pretty good because everyone keeping good attitude.
Smores be the bbq tonight. Board games; ghost stories, flashlights and candles. Car charger for keeping phones going and best of all no school.
