Hi My doctor has prescribed me a NSAID called Lornoxicam. He says that it wont have the same effect on my gut that Ibuprofen and difene have, and hence it wont trigger flare ups after I come off it.
I have my doubts, but Im wondering has anyone here ever tried it, and how did they get on?
Does it do any damage to the gut, thats the last thing I want to do more of!

Back on Salazopyrin after taking a break for 2 years. Might try going dairy free. Sugar & bread are the main killers for me!

Being ever curious (!) I googled it up -

Lots of links to further info on the internet -

Take care - gut stuff is sooooooo vile to contend with.

Good idea,
I didnt see ulcers mentioned as side effect, but I did see at the end of the page that it is not recommended for people with ulcers!
So it seems to me that it does have some bad gut effect, but its probably not as bad as the other NSAIDS.
I stay away from all NSAIDs these days because of the gut effects, burning stomach and joint flare ups that I get a few days after.
