If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I know for the past few years since my Doctor was suspended you put up with me complaining about the doctors that I had and finally the one that was put in his place that who was lets say less then satisfactory well to make a long story short. In Dec there was an ad in the paper that a new dr was accepting patients of course I called right away and put my name on the list. I checked a few times and was told that she didn't finish with the list but not to give up hope. Well I finally got a call from another Dr. ( I have no idea who she is ) who is setting up practice. It seems that the first dr transferred names of patients on her list since it was so long to this doctor. Well I have an appointment with her on Tuesday. Keeping my fingers crossed. Will let you know how she is .
Take care Valerie

good luck! my old GP retired and the new one won't do hardly anything, but everytime i call a doctor that a friend or colleague has recommended, he or she isn't taking new patients. so i keep searching. at least i have some really good specialists now so its less urgent than it could be, but really, i do think its important to have a good GP.....thus very happy for you that you finally are getting a new doctor to replace your old one

I sure hope you can give a positive report. Let us know. I've seen some new doctors at the clinic when mine was not available and I've been pretty impressed overall.

Hey Val, where have you been???? I miss talking to you. Not your fault, I'm guilty of being MIA here and there. I hope things go well with the new doc this week. I remember how terrified I was when my GP of 20 years retired and I moved up north. I was blessed with a new GP, just moved up here and started practice the same year. He was a great find, excellent doc. I hope you have the same luck, what a relief it is to know you have a carring, wonderful group of docs. It does make life with AS a bit easier. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I know how you feel about the doctor. The one that I just left blamed everything on the AS and I mean everything. I was thankful as well that I had great specialists. But I had my first visit with the new GP today and she was great.

Hi Cindy I miss our chats as well . I just have been lazy and in a constant flare. Hopefully the flare is going to come to an end once I start the remacaid next week. The visit with the new GP went great. We hit it off and I was really comfortable with her. She could not believe that the old gp did not prescribe iron pills or shots with my levels being down. She said that she was not prescribing them right now until I get blood work done so she can see what she is dealing with. I think when I get the bloodwork done I will have to bum some blood off family. I think that she ticked everything on the sheet and then wrote some in. I have a good feeling about her. By the way how are you doing? Are the knees still giving you a problem?
Take care Valerie
