If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Swimming kicks butt! Now, if I would just do some. It is 6 degrees tonight. The roads are icy. The New Years crowd has dwindled at the YMCA. Hopefully, I will "just do it" soon
You will! I'm sure of it!

I missed my run on Tuesday, so one Wednesday I ran 6 miles in 1 hour and 2 seconds. Today I spent 30 minutes on the elliptical for 3.4 miles. Good job!

It rained all day today, and I hate running in the rain. In 2008 when I ran the St George marathon the first time it rained the whole race, and that was better than this year when it was hot. So at about 10:00 I went to the gym and got on the elliptical. Went 6 mile in 1 hour, and was in the same spot the whole time.

walked 1.5 miles, 30 or more minutes. nice sunset, good cloud to sky ratio, so lots of pretty oranges and pinks. always reminds me of melting sherbet that we ate as kids, where the orange and raspberry sherbets melted and started mixing together. the colors in the sunset sky always remind me of that. a mostly sunny, in the 30s day. calm, no wind. a nice layer of snow on the ground. nice day for a walk.
tomorrow it rains. this month, we've had it snow then rain then snow then rain a few times. i don't mind it though, the roads have been much safer this january than almost any other january since we moved up here.

walked in from the car with half my stuff to teach, .25 mile, 5 min walked out to and back from the car to get the other half of my stuff, .5 mile, 10 min walked out to the car to go to the doctors, .25 mile, 5 min walked in from the car after the doctors, .25 mile, 5 min walked out to the car to go home, .25 mile, 5 min total: 1.5 miles, 30 min the only advantage to our parking lots being far away from our academic buildings, though walking laden with stuff is not really the best way to be walking, but oh well (can't use a pull cart, causes injuries )
