Photos please? cheerleader

one of these days......ok, i owe you photos, i'll post some here either thanksgiving or christmas break........will have to go find dow's instructions that he left me on this site.........

no real walks last few days, just running from here to there on campus, but its the weekend and i think supposed to be nice, so hoping for two good walks over the next two days.

plus, got my recumbent stationary bike in the mail this week. i prefer the ones with the seats below the level of the legs/feet, but i'll try this one first. plus this one was much cheaper and much more compact than the other kind. so i'll try it and report back. now, no matter what the weather or time of day or night, now i have no excuse......hmm? maybe i should have got it for my office at work!

I went to St George last night to watch my son in the swim meet there. He swam the 50 last nigh, and the 100 today. This morning I ran 4.19 miles in 41:29 minutes. Last month they had the roads closed for my run. I guess I didn't give them enough notice to close the roads ( last month was the marathon).

walked this evening 1 mile, ~25 minutes with hubby. just down the road and back. heard a shot gun go off (hunting season) so important to stick to the road right now (think tomorrow i 'll wear my bright red and white christmas scarf!). only 1 mile because got out there so late.

tomorrow is supposed to be ~10 degrees warmer (~60 degrees F) and sunny (like today) but with DST, will get dark an hour earlier. must get out by 2 or 3 pm. plan to walk the 3 mile loop which includes ~1 mile along the canal. probably some good photo opps tomorrow, s need to make sure camera is ready to go (batteries charged).

beautiful late fall day, high around 60 degrees, sunny too. and the atmospheric conditions were right for those airplane vapor trails to show up; with the sun setting behind them, it was a very pretty sky.

walked down to the canal, along it a little, then back. with stopping to investigate flora (the neighbors have some awesome sweet gum and japanese maples, 4 in a row, quite impressive in their colors of red and orange), listen to the cacophony of the red-winged blackbirds down at the basin, and to take some photos, a 2 mile walk turned into an hour and a half. there won't be too many more days like this for the rest of the year most likely, so enjoying them when i can.
