If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Ok guys..starting to get a little worried.
You all kind of know my history and I have been down and out of shape for along time..spent alot of months on steroids so it packed the weight on..when I went off the steroids I dropped almost 40 pounds by myself..then Tori started the gym and i need to lose at least another 40 or 50 and get my muscles in shape and stronger plus it helps my heart.
I have been reserved at best since we dont know whats going on with my heart thus the gentle work out, as I go on I try and push myself a little more..last night I put the treadmill in incline and walked for 20 minutes at level 3.0 which is pretty fast for me..I actually started sweating I keep my pulse at 120bpm or less
Tori and I just knew that with all the thigh things and arm things that we would be really sore this morning...but Im not..so am I not pushing myself hard enough? I KNOW my body IS that out of shape so what gives? anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
Speak kindly, Live simply, Care deeply, Love generously, and BLAH, HA, HA, LOUDLY! every chance you get.

I dunno. All I can tell you is that some days I get finished swimming and I'm a shaking sweaty mess with a weird heartbeat for a couple of hours afterward. I usually feel a bit too tired on those days, and swim anyway, but we're all tired all the time anyway... Right? I used to run for days at 6mph and now the best I can do is about 2-2.5mph. Maybe kick up the cardio a LOT SLOWER that you are? And tell your doc. At least over the phone.

walked 1.5 miles 30 minutes
tried to do it between the showers but ended up walking in the rain, it was really light so no big deal. been raining since saturday. yesterday and today the showers were spotty, better than the first few days where it rained and rained. 3 inches on saturday and sunday alone.
the trees, shrubs, and flowers are loving it though. except for a wisteria, think it drowned. sure is pretty outside though! the forget me nots have naturalized a lot of the yard, the phlox, the lilacs, the tulips, all very pretty.

Today and yesterday I swam around in our little condo pool for a total of 1 hour. It's so small it's mostly treading water. Go team!

the day started out and was most of the day pretty gloomy though it never did actually rain. but at around 5 pm, the clouds parted, blue sky appeared, and the sun came out. just in time for a walk at the end of the day. walked, 3 miles, 52 minutes......that's a record for me, not exactly sure what happened there but did feel like after a bikeride so was definitely getting real aerobic exercise. and the only thing that was really hurting were my shins (not even my heels like yesterday, but did try to walk in the grass along the side of the road as much as possible, that helped the heels today). i so need to lose weight, so that goal is winning out right now, but need to pace self so i can keep doing the exercise. i eat as little as the gastritis, blood sugar, etc allows; will need to be a combo of exercise and diet to get the weight off, though less insulin resistance would be even more helpful, but it is what it is. did start chromium a few weeks back, hoping that will help my cells respond to insulin better of course if i had known all those years that not only sugar (which i did eat in moderation) but also complex carbs and lack of exercise were contributing to insulin resistance, that would've been nice, but it is what it is.
