If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I swam 1,000 yds today in about 45 minutes. Today is 3 months since I lost my girl and I feel like I'm moving in slow motion. I've been reading grief books, and evidently it's normal. I liked reading Iris Bolton's book "My Son... My Son..."
I Don’t Know Why By Iris M. Bolton I don’t know why… I’ll never know why… I don’t have to know why… I don’t like it… I don’t have to like it…
What I do have to do is make a choice about my living. What I do want to do is to accept it and go on living. The choice is mine. I can go on living, valuing every moment in a way I never did before, Or I can be destroyed by it and in turn, destroy others.
I thought I was immortal, that my children and my family were also, That tragedy happened only to others… But I know now that life is tenuous and valuable. And I choose to go on living, making the most of the time I have, Valuing my family and friends in a way I never experienced before.

huggs erica, what a lovely poem i was gonna try to go for a walk today, but it was in the 30s and we had snow / hail / sleet / wind, it was pretty wild! and a lot more fun to watch out my window than if i had been out in it. that's ok, spring will return shortly, it always does.

Today's run 4.4 miles 42 minutes. It started raining right about 2 miles, but luckily it was a very light rain.

last wednesday: km cb: 60 min thursday: km 1: 60 min sunday: school track with baby buggie walking: 2mi Monday : km cb: 60 min Tuesday : km 1: 60 min hello sporting ka friends! sorry i have been out.. i have been trying to stay positive, but it's been a bit much. hubby was laid off the week before last. he was crushed. they laid him and 2 other drivers off. he broke down on the front porch for an hour mid morning..i didnt realize he was home. then he came in and told me. kept rubbing my eyes wishing it were just a terrible dream. he's applied for unemployment but that 3 week wait is terrible as we have 3 young bugs to feed. his employer terminated the insurance immediately. i am crushed but more heartbroken for my husband as he is a hardworker. they kept pushing for him to go faster. he's 52 and they were giving him 26 stops to do in uvalde every week expecting him to be done by 5-6 pm without a helper. the trucks are set at 55mph. 4 hr round trip. there's no way. so we march on and pray for the best. the worst is my uncle whom i love very very much has terminal cancer. he went in with terrible breathing troubles. they found a mass in his liver. then when they were set to do chemo ran more tests, and found it to be spread in both his lungs, almost all of his liver and most of his stomach. they cannot do chemo. he's only 56. this is my mothers baby brother. she lost her older sister dec 09, then my grandma april 2010. so this is devastating to her. he said he wants no tears. just happiness and laughter. and i am trying. but my mom and i both cried alone away from him. he's always taken care of my grandparents and now my grandpa is heartbroken. they give him very little time. so for now we pray and hope that God takes him with as little pain as possible. we took the kids to the king williams fair this weekend to clear their minds. my aunt and uncle came in from houston to visit my uncle and we got to sit on my uncle's amazing harley davidson bike! cheered us all up! i'll post pics later! i'm sad but i am keeping the chin up and keeping my faith strong. your pal buggy..

Today I swam 1,250 yds in 45 minutes. Tonight I went to a Heartbeat meeting which I highly recommend to anyone who has lost a loved one to mental illness. Those people are SO NICE!

It was hailing here yesterday morning ant then 72F a couple hours later. It's been gloomy for a week, but it will change soon. CO always does. We're going to WA to get our things next week. It's official this move.
