Hi all. Long time.
Well I guess some good comes from having a cronic disease like AS. Just my paper work that entitles me to $4250 of free dental work. yeah lucky me lol
Have needed to get my teeth fixed but as hubby earns too much I couldn't get free dental here is Australia. Of course he doesn't earn enough for me to afford to get my teeth fixed though.
Recently I found out that if you have a cronic condition I am able to get the $4250 worth of private dental work.
So yeah AS is good for something I guess. Ignoring the fact that a lot of my dental problems are likely to be caused from the AS. But hey will continue to ignore that lol.
At least I can get some teeth fixed so I'm happy about that.

They say every cloud has a silver lining - sometimes you just have to look extra hard! Reminds me of a client of mine who is blind - has been since 4 yo - has a guide dog and all.... she told me that if she registers and insures the family vehicle in HER name she gets a significant discount b/c of her disability!!!  And no - she *doesn't* drive it...

Yup, AS has its uses. There aren't many. Glad you found one!!!

if you have oral surgery tell them in advance that you may have ankylosing around base of bad teeth.
the good stuff:
if the black death returns you are immune...and you may catch that hiv virus but it won't turn into aids if your are b27+
