I will talk to both doctors about LDN. When I went to the gym Saturday to renew the family gym membership. They were evaluating flexibility. My wife was teasing me, wanted to see how flexible I was. I did the test, and my numbers were Normal:). Surprised my wife, not me so much. I stretch all the time.

Todays workout 32 minutes on the elliptical, and .25 miles on the treadmill. I started on the treadmill, but chickened out after a quarter mile.

Oh - They can do that to you as well Lath! And, there is a cute harness affair that does indeed just stretch the 'neck'! Works quite well, but, has to be in hands of professional otheerwise will break neck... Helped me some. Managed to realign my neck 'somewhat' to at least the pint that I can 'sort of' turn my head now. But still got those blasted osteophytes jagginto my throat - right pest at this very moment.

Hhhhmmmmm mebbe get my own harness <LOL>

Yesterday after I finished on the elliptical I went to the pullup machine to do some pull ups. I set the weight reached up grabbed the bar and pulled it down. My back went snap, crackle, and pop I thought I hope my back was not fused. One of the reasons I use the pull up machine a couple of times a week is to help stretch my back out.

Beloved,
I pushed myself away from the dinner table.
I lifted my tierd butte out of bed.
I lifted several large glasses of water.
I threw a good knot on my shoes this morning.
I pulled on a heavy coat, when I went out to scoop snow.
Yes, that heavy white stuff that turns to ice...
I am so glad I can still scoop. does bother my neck more and more but my core body strength is still strong, but the old posture is real bad.
I have nearly two city blocks to do here at the church today. So I will not be walking, just scooping..

Oh Lon, that is all too funny - helpless gigglesaa t this end.

Now, Tiered butt OR tired butt. Or even perhaps, tiered and tired butt...sorry Lon, (more helpless giggles)

Surely sounds like that dressing to go out was a real 'work up'... Lon, luv ya man. laugh2

Take care of the neck, not good to scoop but IF you must, don't be scoping with a hole in the bucket (like last time - still giggling over that one as well!) hug

may be able to start taking walks again soon, sure hope so! back spasms almost done i think!

so instead, lots of stretching stretching stretching! while on floor, while tv is on, so i do it for long periods of time, did that last night for quite awhile, felt good!

but do miss the walking, haven't done it now for 2 weeks plus......but soon.....patience! at least the SI joint has given me experience on how to proceed in healing this mid back thing as quickly as possible: rest, ice and heat, ultrasound, and soft tissue work by chiro. just last friday, so bad i could hardly stand it, now, finally today, first day mostly comfortable back there, ribs still a bit tender, muscle still wants to fatigue a bit, but amazing how far it has come in less than a week!
