flat shoes smile

its amazing all the little things that make our lives easier that we learn from one another. i have so many things in my repertoire now due to suggestions from others here........love this place!

me, today:

walked 1 mile with hubby for 20 minutes down the road and back

then, it being rather warm, near 40 degrees, partly sunny, and no wind,
actually warm enough to take off gloves comfortably and take some photos, so then:

walked ~3/4 miles with camera for 45 minutes through our back field.

still enough snow to make it pretty. but little enough that it was easy to walk through. just a few inches left.

I use organic non-homogenized coconut oil. You have to put a chunk between your hands to melt it, but it goes on really easy after that. yes

Yesterday I shoveled snow to clear the drive way then headed skiing. I spent the whole day skiing. Fun time we are getting a lot of snow this year. I had the 4 wheel drive on all the way to the resort.

Today I was on the elliptical at Golds Gym for 10 minutes, then left there and went to the city gym for and spent 25 minutes there. My wife was in the store by Gold's so I went to the gym, Then we both went to the city gym.

sure, if not today, then tomorrow.........

will have to dig up those old posts where dow instructed me how to do so.......

but should be doable.

today its 52! woohoo! cheerleader
won't even need a coat today, just a jacket or sweater!

good thing i took the photos yesterday, even without rain to wash it away, just the warm 40s temps have evaporated most of the snow.

Usually cooking section Sue. Coconut oil used in Indian cooking. Look for cold pressed coconut oil. Comes thick, like to butter, but, like butter melts away in the hands. I generally have a couple of large jars of it here in stock. Good for cooking and of course for 'oiling' the body. Can also put onto hair. Let soak for a half hour wrapped in a warm towel - hair and body IF doing a body AND head bath at the same time. The warmth lets the pores open etc etc. Great stuff, coconut oil. Nourishes the skin and the hair. Indian ladies always have amazing hair, why? They use coconut oil.

I buy Spectrum organic unrefined coconut oil from my local natural foods grocery store. There's another brand that my sister uses, also organic, but I can't remember the name. Hmmm...
