If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi TEAM! Today I pampered myself as per Sue's instructions. This included goofing off in my garden, goofing off on the computer, canning some beets, making some chicken & garden veggie stew w/ dumplings, and now her I am goofing off some more. Oh yeah! And I'm downloading some free ebooks from Project Gutenberg. Now my shoulders & tailbone hurt from not swimming, and my hands hurt from peeling and cutting up veggies, AND IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! gardening / 30 minutes stretching / 30 minutesThanks for the suggestion Sue! Go TEAM!

Tuesday Stats: Krav CB: 60 minutes Hello fellow sporting ka folks!!! I had to find my mojo again...was lost the lsst two weeks with wee bugs sick and myself as well. But things are settling in! yahoo! Tonights class was strength and building up your endurance. I find that helps me alot more than strat cardio. Cardio is too much for me and almost aways sets off my asthma. We did a new little exciting exercise...halo crunches or situps..whichever you could handle. Had one of my fav instructors. He is non stop..and thats what I need. I struggle so much with the pain that when i hurt...pushing myself to get through it makes me feel better. sounds crazy but it works. I did the gym years ago and never felt this way. I guess I kind of feel like if i can survive AS in my face and body 24/7 then i can push through this. I found that if I stop and break it makes it worse. Because you get your ..whats it called? umm...endrendolin going? sorry cant remember how to spell it! Another part is that I hate feeling like a weenie....I feel stronger than when I was alot healthier in my early 20's! lol I figure I have nothing to lose...and once it's done and i'm exhausted..I've released all my stress for the day... and when u have three bugs and a silly hubby then you need all the help you can get! I also spoke to the instructor about the 3x class! he said its great. and i asked about weights..he said i can use 1 lbs..yahoo!! as long as you dont stop. if you stop for a break for a few minutes you have to start all over again getting your heart rate up. Which I've always kept up...even if hurting...just slow it down...so looks like i'll be tossing in a new class! AND starting december 8th i think they will have a KRAV Maga I self defense for women only taught by krav women instructors only!! i have no problems with male instructors..the majority are male there...but me thinks it was the incident with the bully father/son when i went with my gianna. so action was taken and i am pleased! bullies are not welcome in my frienship circle! so we can try it out for 8 weeks for free even if you are only signed up for fitness classes! miss gianna is pleased! okay..soma is hitting me now..so time for me to hit the sackaroni pepperonis...my legs and thighs are sore...i'm walking like franken-buggie! as opposed to my usual shufflebugging! goooo team!!

pampering self, always always good! yesterday, after the chiro, should have gone for an aerobic walk outside, but didn't, because: 1. it was raining 2. it was dark 3. i have so little self control! he he! instead, i stopped at the mall to buy a space heater for my office at work, 2 hours later, i had that and a whole lot more. stuff we needed though, honest! though hubby had a different opinion on the need thing when i got home, LOL! but shopping at the end of an academic quarter is so totally therapeutic and necessary. that also means i didn't grade the metabolism exams that i gave on monday, yet, yesterday was the day to get it done, instead it was a total day of playing hooky! dentis, chiro, shopping, then falling asleep in front of the tv.....again! but at least i'm now well rested and ready to face the 20 metabolism exams, 20 chem lit term papers, and tomorrow 15 nucleic acids take home exams. sometimes we just need a mental recharge, even if we "lose" a day of work, we're much more efficient after playing hooky! at least i didn't stop at the italian bakery right down the street from the chiro like i have done every week since they moved last month! but oh, the almond paste cookies they have there are to die for!

i love walking in the rain, used to love running in a light rain, would be a great way to cool off. a misty rain is even better.

now i just have to watch it continually, insulin resistance will do that to a person!
Yeah, what's up with that anyway? I now have belly fat! Harumph. So, I'm eating the pre-diabetes diet. Not so many carbs... yes, between walking and eating the following, my blood sugar went down from between 105-110 to 95 and my triglycerides went down to normal and my HDLs went up from 30s to 50s. need to get back to: fish, chicken, eggs, nuts, EVOO, greens, beans, other veggies and when i want something sweet - fruit, and a bite of chocolate every day to keep me happy when i eat just this, even the weight and belly fat slowly drops. i need to get back to this diet. i don't eat too many complex carbs or sweets ever, but even a little is too much for me anymore. and the sugar and carbs put me to sleep too, i can so feel the effects of my blood sugar being even a little off.
