If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I was reading an article from Mayo about strep infection causing chronic reactive/reiters.
Anyone ever hear of this cause for a spondy disease?

No, but I read that chronic strep infections cause OCD in teenage girls.

interesting. i did have a step infection right before all of this musculoskeletal stuff started. the only symptom i had was severe tiredness, no sore throat. i was sleeping 10-12 hours a night, zonked out to the world sleep too, not the fitful sleep so many of us experience now, and still i felt like i could sleep for 100 years. i wonder if there is any connection? don't know?

I have had my tonsils out and I had bronchitis, or so they said, at the time when my IBS began. Struggled with breathing for a few years after this, then the back pain joint pain set in. It is hard for me to say exactly that the bronchitis is related, but that too was following a stay in hospital, and I have that Klebsiella Neumonia, highly infectious in hospitals. This is just how it is adding up in my head right now, I may change my mind in time. These memories are coming to me as I learn about the illness. I am not certain that these are the only factors involved or if they are actually relavent. But right now I feel they are

hmmm. a few years ago i went 5o a doc who actually tested me for strep. went to GP for a visit and she was glad/suprised to see i got tested for that. she said they had just recently discovered that an underlying strep infection can cause arthritic symptoms.
fyi... if you look at symptoms of syphilis youll find arthritis is one. saw it on a poster advertising free blood testing as most ppl w/ syphilis dont know it [no symptoms] or syptoms NOT located in genital region. scary! the poster said syphilis was 'makin a comeback'.

I was tested for strep at first when trying to find a Dx. It came back negative. I was also tested for heavy metal poisoning and lyme disease and RA. All negative.
It's crazy to think about everything that can cause arthritic symptoms.

This thing with the syphylis, I know i do not have it because i asked them to check me for that. Yep, i would rather be embarrasssed than in pain LOL
anyway I do not have that, but several of my ansestors did, they died from it
well this is not somethig i brag about but when i read about the genetic thing i wondered if even this is relavent. May be not, well not right now, but in the future might find some folk are seseptable to syphilis too
Anyway, in the mean time my battle against pathagons continues
