If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Monday: walk: 4 miles, 80 minutes
I'm back! I felt better starting today. I could actually walk without really bad pain. I see my rheumy tomorrow...I think I've had Humira induced Lupus...but well see tomorrow.

today hubby and i took a bike ride: 10 miles, 50 minutes
along the erie canal path. toward the end of the day, so the bugs and thus the birds were out coming back.
on the way back:
first we spotted a kingfisher, which was kind of special, don't see them very often.
then a kingbird.
then a green heron, which is always cool to see; the bright orange legs are the give away, as they are about the same size and shape and coloring when not right close up as a least bittern, but the leg coloring is the obvious marker.
then we got to a spot where there were about a dozen or so red wing black birds up in the tree tops, flying around eating bugs, the canal being a great place for bug catching, so a great place to see birds.
we stopped to get a closer look at the other birds and noticed a male and female scarlet tanager
and a nondescript little yellow warbler of some kind up in the tree (not close enough to see any identifiable markings.
all in all a good day for a bike ride and a great day for unexpected bird watching. and best of all, the bike ride helped me feel better for a little while at least.

Stats for Monday Aug 9th: KV KB 60 min. Tuesday August 10th KV KB 60 min. Hoping for my 1st self defense class tomorrow at 6. I'm very excited because I can earn my belts. Bought a shirt from there yesterday..have to post it...love it! It says STW Self-defense-Fitness-Fighting Krav maga Worldwide The best part is the back corner that says STW on the bottom right corner below it.it says "sh*t that works" ROFL! I only saw the KravMaga part and didnt see that till I got home! LOL. But after going through this...I would have to agree with them. Simple yet effective and good for you! bug
