If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

May I dive in here and say that I have had the great good fortune to visit with Mig on two occasions at her little oasis. It is stunning. She gifted it to me you know so I am re-naking the river the 'Migwash'

Hey, you are not allowed to re-name the river, Alan, that is a clear clause in our agreement! LOL Next time (!?) we can go for a canoe down to the lake, if you want! The water is unusually high right now for this time of year. I took this pic on Sat..

I got very motivated today and managed 24 lengths (there and back) of 12 metre pool, so did 576 metres and took me 30 minutes.
Ok, here we go... the story so far... math hat firmly in place...
SWIMMING: 5,480 yards/metres 260 minutes
(Dow did not give time for his 2,000 yards + 1,000 yards - so I put in 40 minutes per 1,000 yards based on Erica's best time! Also, I did not count Friday's swim Dow, because we started on Saturday - so we'll count that as a warm up if that's OK?!!! Goodness I'm strict, arent't I?!!! lol)
WALKING: 8 miles 170 minutes
(Erica did not give distance for walking - so I used Sue's 20 minute mile calculation)
BIKING: 12 miles 60 minutes
TAI CHI: 60 minutes
FLOATING 5 days Yes, the colour grey IS significant here!!! as a grey area!!! lol!!!
TOTAL TIME SPENT ON EXERCISE SINCE SATURDAY (not including grey areas!) Drum roll please... 550 minutes this is approximately 9 hours! (sorry maths not THAT great...) Yipee! Good work everyone!
KickAS and help others do the same!

Wow, Coach Tinker, color and everything! and I think you got the distance part for me right, 2000 yards, everyday since last week, except one day when didn't have time and only did 1000 I didn't give my time yet, because I wanted to confirm over several days that I was really the super speedy swimmer that it looks like: My daily 107 laps, totalling about 2000 yards takes me just over 38 minutes. And before anybody is overly impressed by that speed, I mean it is kinda true, I do concentrate and try to go in a straight direction and all, keep my eye on the line on the pool floor, and imagine that there will soon be cheers from the TV audience... But don't forget that in our little pool, I am just barely finished pushing off from one end, swim like maybe three actual strokes, and it is time for another turn-around and push off, so that rocket-propulsion is why I am so fast!

just in from my bike ride, waited til 8:30 pm to go so it was in the 80s instead of 90s and no sun beating down.
a nice invigorating yet relaxing bike ride. biked along the erie canal, air so still, thus water so still, perfect reflections. got to the 'basin", my turn around point, as i stood there drinking my water and eating my bar, noticed the stillness of the water, haziness of the atmosphere, birds, the only sounds, so peaceful and serene.
then on my way home, almost home, a close encounter with the slithery kind! coming out of the reeds along the side of the road, had to swerve to miss him! good thing no cars were coming! screamed like a little girl! my phobia for them runs deeper than mig's for spiders! i'm sure of it, though maybe it is a contest unto itself. anyway, that sure got the adrenal flowing! think i rode twice as fast after that!
anyway, all told:
biked 7.5 miles in 35 minutes.
so new biking total is:
19.5 miles and 95 minutes.
now i need a nice relaxing shower to get over my close encounter!
