If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Does anyone have any NSD recipes that can increase vegetable consumption, like zucchini bread? I need to diguise a few veggies.

recently i boiled peeled zucchini and then mashed it with a little butter, milk, and salt, and was surprised how much i enjoyed it. grilled veggies or roasted with a little oil and salt tend to make them more tasty. maybe you've already done all of that..........

Grate zucchini, steam it, rinse it, drain it. Cook up a sauce of water, butter, raisins, vanilla extract, and a little sugar; heat until butter is melted and raisins are plumped up. Pour over zucchini and serve.
Sorry no measurements; I don't tend to measure things when I cook and it's been a while since I made it (heard zucchini seeds can be starchy and taking them out seems too much trouble).

another thought, have a recipe for chocolate zucchini cake. bet you could make no starch chocolate brownies and throw the zucchini right in there.

these sound yummy! thanks! not just good for the NSD, but good for those of us with insulin resistance as well. i've been trying to find new and clever ways of using my nut powders. big fan of almond powder, and hazelnut my favorite. how are hazelnuts as far as starch is concerned? they're really good for triglycerides.

I would like to know about people's experiences with hazelnut as well. Also, are hazelnuts the same a filberts? Or are they in the same family?
BTW hazelnut oil is to die for.... I mix it with ghee, when I eat lobster. I would go INSANE without lobster/shrimp, scallops, being on the candida diet. It tastes like candy in my salad, I have been away from sugar so long!!!!!!

i thought hazelnuts and filberts were one and the same, but reading just now, looks like they are related but distinct. one site said distant cousins.
