Thank you again everyone. My naturopathic doctor has her on D supplements, fish oil, magnesium and MSM. We are also experimenting with the diet. I have started gluten free and limiting starches as much as possible. I have a consultation in 1 week with a nutritionist so I will get more aggressive with the diet after consulting with her. I so appreciate everyone's guidance and support! I had a 504 meeting at her school today and they are going to have her change her position for sitting often throughout the day. They will have her take a stretching/yoga break 1x a day that the OT/PT designed.
yeah!

Hi, Ella:

I was thinking of You and really believe that the book by Zampieron, et al "Arthritis: An Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide," will be of great help.

Good Luck with everything--it is a bit daunting...beyond what we can imagine,

John

That's amazing how the school is going to help your daughter! I'm so impressed. It will help her so much. When I worked and my AS was bad I was at a PC all day. Getting up, walking about and stretching was essential. I also used to swim every day after work to stretch me right out and get my posture back. The yoga sounds like a wonderful idea.

I hope the nutritionalist is helpful too, you are building up a good team of people to help you with this, that's great. The school being on board with it all as well will make things so much better for your daugher and far less worrying for you. They do spend a lot of their time at school, after all.

Take care, and hope to hear more news from you soon.
