If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hmm
I did ot know this until your post but clearly you and I are at odds.
I have never been a Naval officer, archaeologist ( can even spell the bloody wor without peeking), never been a long haired protesting hippie, nver been a vegan although it sounds unpleasant.
I'm afraid of witches, wouldn't knowhow to dance sky clad anywhere, in fact once a blue moon ago here at KickAAS I posted about one of my dancing excursions that led to a spontaneous young lady seeking to be dipped and being bounced across the dance floor like a basketball by someone who clearly resembled me.
I suspect the evidence will show that I perpetuate ignorance far more often than I have like Don Quixote titled against it.
I lke the notion of othe one religion takes all sweepstakes. Certainly adds to the tension at the finish line.
I don not yet own but will purchase a t-shirt with a mirrored front so that I can correctly launch back at you your "You are entitle to your wrong opinion " t- shirt.
I am clearly misguided by th enotion that works for me will work for others but I am wise enough to not share it because with AS I need to keep a step ahead of the pack so go fend for yourself you aren't gettin' any of my secrets.
I marvel at the folks who with undeterred tenancity try with all their will to compel me to believe in their ultimate truth as to health, God or any other facet of life since I suspect the world needs folks with such shear determination of will even if I find it exhausting at time. I only get aggravated lately at myself if I don't give them my ever respectful self. I usually don't. I find it easy to give respect when my feathers aren't too ruffled but then I guess I'm not giving really that much. I'm working on it.
So I guess your right there, the respect thingee is pretty important.
As for the not judging folks thingee you threw in. AAWW C'mon throw me a bone on that one. I judge everyone. I disuise it in the fact that I don't judge them but rather I assess them but most of the time in an instant my assessment is whoa that one is a nutjob. Then I pause and find something winning about th eparticular nutjob I've just designated. I hope it all balance out though because I certainly have adjudged myself quite high (High grades meaning more nutty) on the nutjob scale. We all judge - don;t we or am I really that bad. AHh I suspect a PM from th eadmin's placing me on double secret kickAS probation.
Forgive me if I strayed and made no point but that is my forte. I did very much appreciate your post although you and I have gone at this life thing quite differently and my way of course has been much better.

Religion is the most obvious example I can think of at the moment and I don't need to explain to any of you how far some people are willing to go to convince others that what they believe is the only truth.
I can remember so clearly when I was 9 years old, in a church asking questions about the existence of God. I remember everyone laughing at me but, at that age, I wasn't sure why they were doing that. I thought if there was a God, they'd surely answer the question. Didn't happen and that laughing really bugged me (to this day).

Snow, If you are open to investigating various "-isms" in an effort to find the Right Path for You, might I recommend to you the website of the Pastafarians and the Church of the FSM: http://www.venganza.org/My teenage son is a member of this religious body and finds it a very satisfying experience. My own dietary restrictions (NSD) are not compatible with some of their practices, so I will remain a Buddhist. I think that 1/4 pounder eating guy *may* be a fraud!!!

No, you are not doomed. Be a critical thinker, analyze everything for factual content and you will be well on your way to living away from woo hoo.

First off, let me thank you, Chris, for leaving what I believe to be one of the best posts ever left at this or any other forum. Bravo to you for boiling such fundamental truths and important ideas down into such a concise, elegant post such as this. I'm a better person for having read it.
Second, man, you have led one fascinating life. I have a feeling that it would be very cool to sit down and have a beer with you and just sit and talk. Maybe someday.
Third, thank you for serving our country and defending me, my family, and friends. You have my complete respect and gratitude for your service.
I think that about covers everything (oh, and welcome back!)

Chris what a great post.Over the 25+ years of driving I havehad advice about my AS from being healed with colors all sorts of vitiams and special diets. But my best was some oil this little old lady gave me.I opened the bottle and it smelld like nothing i have ever smelled.i came home and my wife and i laugh about it made the mastake of sitting it on the fire place mantel later that night i awoke to a terrible smell.Had to replace the harth and mantel on the fire place to get rid of the oil smell. I respect everyone here i thank you for putting it the way you did. Bradford

Timo,
That is sad that at a church no one felt the need to answer a precious childs question, Im sorry you went thru that.
For me, I grew up in a church because of my parents and have learned that for me and my family will follow the same. We just watched our son (our last child) get baptised last sunday.
For me, how can you believe that there isn't a God.

I actually wanted to clarify..lol
On the last comment I made to Timo about for me, how can you believe there isnt a god, I meant ME not Timo..
I meant with the way I have grown up and what I believe in how could I not believe in God.
It in no way was meant to be asking why Timo does or doesnt beleive in God it was meant for me.
