We've gotten 8" of rain already and they're saying we'll get 7 more...we're flooding!! They're out there stacking up sand bags but I don't think that's going to stop it....looks like another house may be down the drain....ARGH!!! The good news...I had to have surgery on my hand, this has been an ongoing thing since hurricane Katrina and it's been a pain in the you know what....4+ years now...but I think it's finally over!!  It's healing great and the x-rays look great, so I think it's finally behind me once and for all! I haven't been here much because it's so hard to type with the cast but I hope everyone is doing well...and for those who've sent me PMs, thank you and I'm going to work on replies today....Have a Great Day Everyone!!!

Hey Kevin, how are you? You've been on my mind lately...Dad is pretty well set up, he has home health care nurses around the clock now and it makes it so nice, as it allows me to just relax and enjoy his company...nice to see you, my friend...

Hi Anna...thanks and I can't wait until my hand is back in full swing....I miss being here!! I guess only time will tell on the flooding, they've raised the rain prediction to 10", it's supposed to start tonight, they're passing out sandbags and everyone is scrambling to get supplies but sometimes the predictions are wrong...I hope they are this time!
