hi guys, it has been a couple of years i logged on here, recently i could conclude 100% that i am cured from AS, I can also eat again all the starch i want .. even getting FAT from it :-)

Thought i let you know my recipe

Overall the recipe is simple
-keep away the inflammation by diet
-harmonize your energies by practising chi kung, tai chi is probably also fine

I did this for 2 years and found myself cured, while the previous 4 years of diet without the chinese practise did not cure me. I practised zhan zhuang chi kung which is standing stil for extened periods while focusing on relaxation.

My diet was:
-no starch
-no FOS (fructo-oligo-sacharrides, its in leek/onion/okra/asparaques)
-no 'anything alive' (probiotics, Kombucha, Live yogurt
-300-400 gr of meat
-lots of butter
-normal vegatables

All the best to everybody!
Arjan

Wait - did you say NO probiotic cultures? I thought that was supposed to be helpful. What was your reaction?

Wow. It took me a sec to get over a wave of insane jealousy, but I must say this is pretty awesome news. Thanks for sharing.

It's probably uncool of me to bombard you with questions, but I hope you will humor my curiousity!

1. Did you recover 100%? Can you do all the things now, that you could do prior to the disease? How much damage was there to your body after your "cure"?
2. Were any of your bones fused yet?
3. In addition to your "primary" AS symptoms (e.g. bilateral SI joint pain, low back stiffness, etc.), did you experience any of the "secondary" AS symptoms (e.g. irisits, shin splints, Achilles tendonitis, etc.). How severe were your symptoms when you were at your worst?
4. How long did you suffer from AS before getting a diagnosis?
5. What was the rationale for avoiding FOS and "living" foods?
6. What additional medication were you using before the diet? During the diet?
7. Did you take additional supplements (e.g. fish oil)?
8. In addition to the Qi Gong, did you employ other alternative modalities (e.g. acupuncture)?

Apologies again for the numerous questions. But I still hope to bludgeon the disease into remission and would love to learn more from success stories. (I always have to have a carrot in front of me...)

Congratulations again on the wonderful news!

Freddie

@LindyAp
probiotic response: inflammation
my rationale: my immune system got upset with any stimulation from the intesines, not just klebsiella

@Frederic
I consider AS to be inflammation only, and that no longer occurs. All the mechanical issues are just side effects. Some are still there, others are gone .. bottom line is: without inflammation you're in a position to do something about it ...

My inflammation is cured 100% .. no diet required anymore.

5. irisits, shin splints - No
Achilles tendonitis - Yes
6. before 1000mg naproxen, during 800 ibuprofen, later 400
7. gave up on that, never felt the difference
8. YES! good that you mention it .... www.quantumtouch.com

TAKE this workshop: RECOMMENDED! EASY to learn!! excellent for painrelief ie crisismanagement. They have books too .. You CAN use it on yourself!

It also harmonizes but consider chikung better for that although this takes a bit more effort and you need a teacher .. in london are a lot of good zhan zhuang teachers .. you can do this chikung sitting down too!!

I totally believe this is possible!! What did I say during this week about miracles? Thank so much for sharing. I have the books regarding the Quantum Touch - it is all about energy healing, something like turbo boost Reiki.
Wish all people would believe in miracles....
Take care

When I first began posting here many years ago, I recall Arjan's posts and advice. I do not discount his post and thank him for coming here to share his experience.
