There are many who stood out... both good and bad... but if I had to choose one, it would be Dawn Sturman, High School Algebra and Physics (and I'm a music and art person!). Not only can she explain anything so that it made sense, she makes class engaging and user friendly. She has nothing but respect for her students and takes a geniune interest in their lives and dreams. When I was having difficulties with an undiagnosed learning disability she advocated for me with other teachers and school administration. Three cheers for Mrs. Sturman!

My favorite teacher of all times was my dad. He was a wonderful teacher to all and I miss him terribly.

He suffered from AS, RA and Post Polio syndrome and I had to get to this point in life to understand how much he had to have suffered withut complaining. He spent one whole year in bed with Mom turning him with a sheet and returned to school the next year with a walker and finally went to a cane for a while and ended up with a walker. He had both hips replaced.

He was a school administrator who insisted on teaching one class a year to stay in contact with the students and to know them all better.

He gets my nomination for best teacher.

Miss you Dad and appreciate you more than I ever lete you know.

Blessings to all.
