Hi Darryl,... and Welcome to KA!  Glad you found KickAS so early after being dx'ed. There is a great deal of info here that might help you find proactive strategies to manage living with AS. I was hit with AS in my late teens, and here I am 25 yrs later still learning more about it each day. This sure is a great place to hang out and meet a knowledgeable friendly bunch who can really relate. I'm a big animal   lover, too. Nice to meet ya! mig

I always wanted to be a Vet but I was too squeamish.
Lane, can stick insects grow their legs back if they lose one? This has happened to one of mine (Sticky)
I don`t suppose you get many stick insects in your surgery, but what do you think?

FYI-Because of its literal definition ("fear of the marketplace"), agoraphobia is often misunderstood as a fear of crowds or a fear of open spaces. The clinical definition of agoraphobia is a fear of situations or places "from which escape might be difficult (or embarrassing) or in which help may not be available in the event" of a panic attack.

When I first joined NO ONE else I knew or talked to had even heard of AS, it is so nice to be able to come some where, where other people know exactly how you feel and what you are going thru.
