If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

>> I went out at around 6:00 and had smoked chicken (not a lot). That was around 17 hours ago. Since then I have had a lot of gas
yeah, that does sound weird. I have heard of one case where a ladies stomach stopped moving food into the gut. Everything just stayed in her stomach.. But thats a one in a billion type story..
I take it that you have finished the fast, and you are trying to get back on normal food ? I think I would start with yoghurt and tofu for proteins.
When I finished off on the fast, I found it was a really useful time to test out foods and see how much pain different foods caused me. Just try one food at a time, choosing the safest foods first. That's how I would do it.

>> I am not good of giving myself a massage so I prefer to have it from the expert and perhaps I am too lazy
im no expert either, but it only takes a minute or so to massage my own back. I am fairly certain that the choice of oils makes a big difference. I choose oils based on edgar cayce's recommendation, as well as by their fatty acid profile (eg: peanut oil, almond oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil, canola oil).
I might try some coconut oil.. hadn't thought about that..

I seem to be back to normal now, and my stomach pain and back pain are all gone, so I am feeling good. After not being able to go to the washroom for a while I then had to go very often and it wasn't pleasant. I really lost my appetite after the chicken and couldn't eat much. Yesterday my appetite started to come back and it was anout time because I couldn't get up without feeling really dizzy. Once I get some food in me I am sure I will be feeeling really good. I agree it is time to experiment! Eric

>> "As for purgatives.. well I aint really sure what happened, but I am guessing it was the Psyllium husks that I had with my morning coffee"ahhh, thinking back to what I ate... I now think it was the watermelon that I juiced that morning. Bits of it were going soft.. so that would explain the "laxative" effect I tried the psyllium husks again, and I don't think do anything much for me. >> my stomach pain and back pain are all gone, so I am feeling good.
great :-) I think my appetite went a bit funny too. But now my appetite is going strong, and I feel great. I lost about 2kg of weight on my fast. But have put that back on in 2 weeks. So I am not afraid to try again in another weeks or so.
I figure that if I modify the diet slightly, maybe I will actually put on weight instead :-)
breaking the fast I am just reading a bit more on fasting.. in a book by Tom Chalko. He says:
"start by eating small quantities of liquid food. Try to treat you body as that of a newly born baby. Eating one spoon of natural yoghurt (no flavours!!!) is a good start"... "eat very small quantities (baby size), but do so quite frequently, every hour or two for example. Squeezing fresh fruit juices and nectars will provide you with an excellent food. Continue drinking 2-3 litres of water. You may add honey to the (lukewarm) water if you wish. from: The Joy of Perfect Health by Tom J Chalko
