Hi Eric,

I think ........... kiwi, celery and cucumber are very good, it will fresh you up after the cleansing.

I can't stands olive oil too, sometimes thinking of run way of it but that's apart of the process and we like to achieve the goal.

Cheers,
Sinta

Hi there Sinta

Glad you are getting ready for another go...
However, these "fasts" are called "mono-diets" - meaning one food only. The idea is to restrict the nutrients and remove complexities and variables. My preference would be to use grapes only or cherries only or red apples only as they are full of the various cleaning agents - the red skins contain quercetins and other useful stuff. I have had a different fruit on the last day when apples were not high quality, but would avoid a mixture.
Longans are wonderful, but maybe better after the fast...

You may recall my early apple fasts when i thought it would be a good idea to break it with avocado as it is slippery and may provide a good lining for the gut. Wrong, it made me flare badly and i was sensitive to it for some time. Too much fat (oleic acid) and too many macromolecules. Silly me, the body can make much better linings than avocado - if NSAIDs let it. We do not want big unusual molecules in our gut while we have a clean environ around vulnerable lesions as they can cause sensitivities if they pass through the GIT.

The idea of the first meal after a long fast (three days is not long) is to have simple, almost elemental nutrients - celery etc. and leaf vegetable soups - a form that we can absorb and use 99.9% so none remains for the reduced bug colonies. These organic minerals will help us develop the enzymes and vitamins we can produce ourselves and also help some of the lining activity, but are of no consequence to the lesions as thay can usually pass through anyway.
Then we can feed the bugs that we wish to encourage.
Then we can start feeding ourselves real food - ie bacon and eggs
But take it all with a big pinch of salt as it's only what i choose to do

I did a few thing differently. I didn't eat the apple skins. I don't know why, I just automatically peeled them. Also, for my first 'meal' I had the stick of celery, the cuccumber, the kiwi without seeds (not much left of it after cutting out the seeds) and I thought I needed some sort of protein, so I added a couple slices of sandwich meat. I hope the meat didn't hurt the process. It was 95% ham, and the rest was made from glucose, white sugar and salt. Guess I'll have to wait and see how thing go as the day progresses. Anyway, I am planning on having grilled saltless bacon in lettuce wraps for dinner tonight. Gotta feed the soul!!!

Hi Ted,

I understand the concept of mono-diets and thanks for your explanation. Although I do really want to take the apple diet but I find some difficulty to find the right apples. Dark grapes is hardly to find on the market at the moment and my cherries supply won't be enough for three days.

Actually I just want to find out what will happen if I just take "fruits only" for three days in a row so not in the spirit of cleaning, just want to figure whether it will improve my current condition, or can I feel some differences cause I am on LSD most of the time.

The problem that I have at the moment is the pain in my back and little stiffness on my neck which usually goes away after enough rest. But I also notice that I feel numbness on my head which might coming from the stiffness on my neck.

Little experiment which might make a difference and if not then I shall looking for apples and start the true apple diet .

Plus ......... too late warning cause I already have longans for lunch

Thanks again and I wish you to have good health ....... always

Cheers,
Sinta

Yeah isn't fruit wonderful

Fruit salad tastes great, but it comes from three different countries, four seasons, needs twenty different enzymes and three stomachs to digest it well.....

(and that's without the cream)

but it's still very hard to go far wrong with fruit
YUM
enjoy the experiment

I found that the lychee/grape juice did wonders for my stiff neck.

Has anyone tried cooking their apples as Edgar Cayce suggested?

I seem to do better with cooked fruit, rather than fresh. I have long believed that fresh is best.. but I just *seem* to be in less pain with cooked fruit - (eg: bottled fruit, stewed fruit, fruit yoghurt )

I tried to do a "grape fast" a while ago instead of the usual apple fast.. and I am pretty sure the raw grapes actually increased my inflammation !! The pain subsided far more quickly after eating the grapes. But that is probably because I took a purgative (of sorts).

The fast worked brilliantly once I had my bowels emptied. Makes sense really. All that gunk left over in the bowels will continue to cause inflammation... so just clean it all out :-). But I neglected to do the olive oil part properly, oops.

As for purgatives.. well I aint really sure what happened, but I am guessing it was the Psyllium husks that I had with my morning coffee. Pretty sure that was it, and it was really really powerful. So next time I will go easy on it so I don't do some damage

hey guys, dont forget to try giving yourself a massage with some of the oils recommended by Edgar Cayce. I tried massaging myself with peanut oil as he recommended it frequently, and I do believe it helps. I have been doing great in the past week ever since I started it...

Hi z,

I am not good of giving myself a massage so I prefer to have it from the expert and perhaps I am too lazy

My mom in the other hand like this massage idea, anytime she feels any kind of pain, she's doing this massaging right away cause she don't like the idea of taking pills. It helps her a lot.

I do believe in massage, it will make your blood circulation better and other benefit.

Hi Ted,

It's my second day and something strange happened last night, I felt bit sore on my throat, bit nausea (hungry perhaps?) but the big problem is on my throat, felt so awful.

I have suspicion of longans but I didn't take too much of it either so what could be wrong? I only have grape juice last night and some cherries.

I am still on the fasting though and my energy remain as usual, don't feel any fatigue and everything seems normal. The challenge come from my sister, she send me roasted chicken and mushroom rice in coconut leaf ............ but I am standing still .

Sometimes I think the difficulties of any kind of fasting come from mind while I don't feel hungry too much but lots of foods flying on my mind, man ...... , that's a mind game.

Next time, I better do this fasting right, either is apple diet or mono-diets so I could have more benefit .

Good day,

Sinta

PS: How long you can stand on fasting? You think 3 days is not considering a long fast?

I haven't had a real massage in years. Though I do have one of those massage machines. It feels good, but not quite the same.
Sorry, but I will get a little graphic here. I described my first meal after the oil and then said I was going to go out for dinner. I went out at around 6:00 and had smoked chicken (not a lot). That was around 17 hours ago. Since then I have had a lot of gas. It doesn't seem to be in the bowel but in the stomach. I have had to enduce burping, very often to get relief. I can still taste the oil and the chicken. I feel like I have to use the washroom, but haven't been able to. Is this a common sensation after the diet, or did the chicken and two slices of ham I had with my lunch mess things up? Shouldn't the food be digested by now and out of the body? Any info will help. Thanks.
Eric
