Has anyone read / heard of procedures that can replace using so much hardware to hold the back in place? The surgeon told me 4 years ago to wait until I was less active and could not stand it any more. I think I am there. but he said it would include lots of hardware that would trip the metal detectors. What do they call less invasive procedures that will hold the vertebra in place?
