I figure i may as well try it. There are reports that it has helped people with all kinds of autoimmune disease. I know people on here take it, mostly women from what I gather.

What dose do you start with?
Is there a particular kind that you can order? I saw one online called naltrexone HCL.
I can order it without a script at united pharmacy and allchemist for a reasonable amount of money. Any thoughts?

Most of us start with 1.5 mg, then 3.0 mg, then 4.5 mg.

I've been told to make sure its compounded, fresh, and not time released.

I get it from my local reputable compounding pharmacy to be on the safe side.

I figured if it didn't work, i wouldn't know if it was because LDN wasn't going to work for me, or because I had an inactive variety.

But I tend to play things safe.

Good luck.

<LOL> - Chaps take as well finnari ! See the yahoo group, lowdosenaltrexone@yahoogroups.com - many are MS but also cancer and autoimmune, including diabetics. Sometimes useful interactions/discussions.

Sue has given the time of day on dose and to be aware of type of LDN - and the filler used. Lots of info on lowdosenaltrexone.org and ldninfo.org

I have found it to be terrific. Do not take with opioids, as one will knock out the other, with opioids winning.

Keep us posted as to how you go -

Thanks for the replies. Yes I found a place in england that sells it at 4.5 mg. so they must make it for the alternative crowd that uses it.
I did go to yahoo and actually found a story of a guy in australia who sounds so much like me. He says it arrested his disease.
I sure hope for that type of success.
