If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I saw my pain specialist a couple of day's ago and said that some of her patients were finding some pain relief with grounding sheets. I never heard of them before. They are a little pricey so I wanted to check here to see if anyone has tried them or if they are a gimmick.

had never heard of it, so i just went out and googled a little. watched a video on youtube. i don't know. if its safe, then my opinion is that its always worth a try. unless its crazy expensive, what do you have to lose? in the video, they were talking about "using" the electromagnetism of the earth. reminded me of those magnetic bracelets. i had one, not because i believed it would work, but rather because it had the prettiest picasso jasper beads. and then i thought, "ok, i'm doing the experiment". not only did it not help my inflammation systemically, it didn't even do anything for the tendonitis in that wrist. useless. so, i don't know what to think about this. it doesn't really make scientific sense to me, but what do you have to lose? i do plenty of experiments to find relief. if you buy them, let us know what you think about the results.

thanks for the report donette! like you, i'll try anything if its cheap enough and causes no harm. every so often i hit on something that gives major relief, and often its the thing i'd have bet on the least. there are lots of things we still don't understand and nothing wrong with walking barefoot along the beach, in the cool grass. we should all do that a lot more often, i think. i remember as a kid, my mom couldn't keep my shoes on me......just one rule, we couldn't be barefoot around the horses, otherwise, it was all good. i'm still barefoot around the house much of the time. and one of my favorite activities, if i can just make it to the ocean, is to walk along the surf barefoot, feeling the sand being washed away from under my feet as the tide goes out.

I just can't imagine any doctor I have ever seen recommending something like that. You must have a really open-minded pain doc!

Thank's for the reply's. I did try a magnetic bed cover by a friend who swore by it but it didn't help me. I think the only thing that would help is a barometric chamber.
Faraday cage John? I'm going to have to google that. Sounds interesting. I have my doubts about the grounding sheets but she had other patients who it worked for. I should have asked her if they had A.S. I always think of pertinent questions after I leave.
Donette-Are you still using it? I saw the pad and the sheets. Have you taken it off to see if there is a difference? I would love to go barefoot but with plantar fascitis and a tendency to have enthesitis in the ankles, I have to keep my orthotics on and it is too cold here to go barefoot except for maybe a month. Booooooo!
