I take seizure drugs for trigeminal neuralgia but i’m also in a really bad AS flare. Is the starch in the seizure meds enough to be causing me problems when the rest of my diet is starch free.

Hi, Teri:
Yes, regret even a teeny amount of starch can cause a flare. Compounding pharmacies can usually come up with a starch-free formulation.
Please go to the diet forum to have us review Your present diet; there are many things which do not contain starch specifically (caramel) that can cause increased AS activity.
