If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Like all weekdays...
Today walked for 15 minutes from son´s school to work. Also this morning 10 minutes of stretching... tonight will be another 15-20 minutes of stretching.
Started with the walking about a month ago... it is doing me a lot of good.
Best to the Kickers
Tim

Isn't it amazing how walking helps with energy? Some days I only walk a few blocks and others - like today I walk for a long time. I've noticed that I walk longer and farther if I have someone to talk to while I'm walking.

Hi everyone. Today I just did 20km on the static bike in 66.13 minutes.
I noticed someone above talking about Yoga. My experience is it´s fine if you have no pain and if you have pain it escalates the problem very quickly. Without science to back me up I believe the problem is that the body´s idea of too much is much less than the brain´s. This causes alot of problems. However each to their own and what works for you doesn´t necessarily work for others. I´m a swimmer and cycler and a foodie (yes I´m a fat boy)

Hello Fergus, My experience is similar early on with AS... especially with my SI joints. If I was in small flare.. stretching would make issues much worse. Today I stretch daily and fortunately I have been doing very well for many years now with all the treatments/disciplines I maintain now. Best, Tim

Yes Tim. I agree with you. When you are physically weak the stretching can be more problematic than beneficial but when you feel good the stretching is fun without repercussions.
Yesterday, my birthday I did 15km on the static bike in 50.07 mins
take it easy

We are in winter here... had many days close to zero Celsius (32 Fahrenheit) in the morning so was not walking. Living in warm climate (similar to Florida)... my blood has thinned a bit.
Still doing the stretching morning and evenings... Friday did walk around noon for 50 minutes in total... had to walk from office to my son`s school to see his play and then returned back to office when done.
Keep on Kicking to all Kickers!!
Tim

Did my stretches again today (just finished the nightly stretches). This morning wife went to morning aerobics.. so I had to watch Mateo (now 11) until she returned home as he is on winter break from school. Yes it is winter here in southern hemisphere. Well... wife got home and I looked at cellphone app and I had 3 minutes to get to bus stop to hop on bus to downtown. So I left house running (fast jog) and ran 2 blocks to just get there in time. Fortunately did not bother my hips too much... just did not feel like waiting this morning for next bus Almost the weekend! Tim

Wohoo!!! We are camp managing above 10k feet this summer so moving around has been a bit more arduous. That said, after 4 weeks here I can get from one side of the camp to another without huffing and puffing too much. My step count has been 12,000 per day for most of the month, but it is so beautiful up here in the clouds that I don't notice. I wonder if the altitude takes pressure off my feet, because they do not hurt at all. Gooooooo team!!!
