Its for RA but Paddison posted some AS testimonials. Its basically a raw vegan diet - lots of celery and cucumber juicing. Difference is people soak nuts, eat sweet potato and squash

Weird you posted this. I was just listening to his AS podcasts lately on my daily dog walks.

He's a likeable guy. I'm pretty sure his program isn't centered on raw vegan, but rather the whole foods plant based paradigm. The doctors he draws his methods from are the typical cast of characters found in plant based documentaries. People like Barnard, McDougall, Esselstyn, Klaper, Popper, T Colin Campbell, etc.

From his podcasts, at their roots AS & RA are conditions which stem from severe digestive disorders. The juices are meant to flush the gut of toxins and help restore order to the gut. I gather his program starts in phases as somewhat of an elimination diet with the goal to be fully able to enjoy everything on the whole foods plant based spectrum, save for things like gluten grains. No oils is also a key item to discard.

Anyway, it's a method I hitched my wagon to a couple of years ago and can report a high level of success, albeit not as overnight miraculous and hiccup free as those Netflix documentaries might have you believe. I also made some mistakes to be fair.

Paddison won't be popular here as he is outspoken about the science of Ebringer's stance on starches as wrong so you probably won't get a lot of back and forth here.

Hi Guys

I have the diet plan e book and contemplating trying it soon....
(Contact me Via PM with your email address and I will send a copy to you....)

I Want to do a CRP Blood test Before and After the diet program which is like 21 days or something can't remember read it a while back.....

Need to Visit A GP who will order the blood test then I can make copies of the order to do repeat tests when I need them(Thats what I was told by the Blood Lab/Clinic)

My CRP does reflect the amount of pain I am In, Since It was around 42mg/l for a long time now.....

What I can remember from reading the book is that enzymes are important, Alkalizing foods are important, No pro inflammatory foods allowed like sugar, wheat, dairy(common)

I think the diet is worth a try and could work by re-establishing good bacteria which offset the bad pathogens and reduce inflammation.....but this can take a while to happen(especially if you have been in pain for a long time - I'm assuming)

I am going to read the book again tomorrow and start planning for the diet....

I will post my results here if I do It......

Regards

Lee

Ok, I'll bite: L33 i will DM you for a copy!

I've heard about the Paddison diet but only on other boards where people talk about trying it but then never hear about their results.

I found KickAS first and found the explanation for NSD really compelling. I had already discovered on my own that dairy and grains were problematic but was absolutely stumped by the why, and knew I was still missing a key piece of the puzzle. As soon as I read about the starch/gut bacteria theory it just made so much sense. I then tried NSD I had responded so well and so quickly that I never really looked further.

I have found it hard to find clear info about Paddison diet online. I would love to read the book. I'm a bit skeptical of the acid/alkaline theory....It seems to underpin a lot of alt-nutrition advice these days, but I have never been able to find any research that supports it, so I would love to see Paddison's references.

Hi All

I plan on doing the diet soon I am busy buying all the necessary things that the book recommends....

I have done a CRP + ESR + FBC blood test yesterday after having it ordered by my GP....waiting for the results...

The book recommends doing one before & After the diet to see any improvement....

I have also purchased a good quality Steamer/Rice cooker for all the food that I will be cooking....

I have also have a blender which I am using as Juice maker....

I have bought a lot of bottled water for the duration of the diet as well.

I will post my current blood results as soon I get them...

Will keep you posted

Regards

Lee
