Hi Guys
I got a xray last week after 15 months of fairly strict NSD. Good news is the report was better than the 1 i received 18 months earlier, either my sacriolic joints have healed a bit or the second doctor isnt as thorough. Bad news is they mentioned i have marked faecal loading through the colon. I believe this is a result of the NSD ( as does my doctor). Any tips to help with this and manage moving forward? Eg. Types of foods to eat/avoid that comply with NSD.

CONGRATULATIONS on being so strict and achieving some improvement!
The NSD is rather low in fiber, so we need things to help the sludge along: Good to be taking EVOO by teaspoonful (up to 18X daily), especially before meals. Also, some fiber supplement and there are some soluble ones like "Equate" Fiber Power that dissolves totally and does not thicken the drink. Most of these are safe, but some have starches as anti-clumping agents. Dried fruits can also be a great source of fiber of course. There are also stool softeners that are quite mild but effective to avoid getting impacted.
