I was told here about a year ago that my neck xray was horrible shape. it showed a complete white out with arthritis. is this how AS effects women. I was told there is nothing they can do but give me meds to help with pain.

I think the idea is that they help us take control of our pain by giving us various medications we are then able to do more physiotherapy exercises and get about more so get out of the circle of continuous pain.

You can go back and read my posts. My lower back was a mess MRI freaked me out. In short I was diagnosed back in 2009 I believe. I was told to get ready to be crippled. Doctor also told me to stop eating starch. Went from being in so much pain I could not walk to riding my mules again and hiking around 11,000 foot mountain peaks. The road is different for everyone. I went NSD hardest thing I have ever done but it worked for me. My lower back is still more flexible now than when diagnosed. There are people on here doing great on biologics. I looked at everything and picked my path and it worked. I would hope that you can achieve the same success.

ETTE.
