Ubiquitous steroid use posing unwitting cause for glaucoma

Worth noting that could be exposed to products unaware that they contain steroid and that there are numerous modes of contact from topical, nasal to oral.

Hey there Molly,

Yes, steroids worry me too, I took the eyedrop form for many years while battling iritis. Fortunately, so far so good in not having cataracts.

My Dad is dealing with glaucoma too - not fun, eh. I am sorry you have it severely.

Yep, it sure would be fun to have another 'shed' journey. <LOL> ... to have our star in action again!

Hi Mig - always worries me when I read the iritis steroid use - TG you are OK after using.

Catching up. Was hospitalised on the 18 - DVT, deep behind the radial artery. Plus phlebitis. Then a piece of the clot broke off, travelled up, Pulmonary embolism. Coughing up blood. Then an almighty bout of bronchitis ! Just out of hospital, staying with friends - log fires and being thoroughly spoilt. Not too much medication, just rat poison and ventolin. Hate that dry ventolin. Recovering slowly.

Another shed - but, need the old production team.... <LOL>

Take care -

Dearest Lon, thank you hug - recovering slowly, breathlessness is the worst part - and can't do stress very well (no one upset me <LOL> shocked ). Weekly blood tests - just a simple draw. Have a cute young interne (soon to be qualified doctor) looking after my 'case'. He is such a dear and, the hospital were terrific.
Will be back home nxt Fri.

Thank you Lon - you take care yourself now - no entanglements with trucks or tractors...!!
