I'm on my last day up here in Montana getting my annual booster. I always promise myself I'll put up a post for the newbies or those that are searching. You can read my story on my blog which has links in my signature.

I just counted - it's my 13th visit. I think of my life that preceeded my first time and it gives me the willies. Chronic pain, a life that revolved around Doctor visits, side effects from medications and a terrible quality of life has changed to a complete 180 after my visits to the mine. Now I travel, garden, have a fun little summer business that is very physically taxing and we are making plans to buy an RV and live a mobile life for awhile - all things I couldn't even dream of before. Oh, and no Doctors, no meds, just my annual 10 day visit to Montana Health mines.

I'll check in for the next few days to see if I need to answer any questions, but other than that I'm out until next year.

Thanks for keeping up with the updates each time you go. I keep putting it off but will get there someday.

Every spring I get a bad enough flare to look into plane tickets and time off of work to go try it. Then the flare lessens and I decide to put it off until next year.

I hope they continue keeping the mine open for a long time to come.

H20 Girl! It's been a long time! How funny- I'm just finishing up week 3 here at the Radium Palace in Jachymov, Czech Republic. It's been a couple of years since I've been back- I'm looking forward to the relief I'll get in a month or so!
So happy to hear you're still out there doing the radon thing!
All the best (I still haven't tried the mines... on my bucket list)

Hey Buddy!

I only seem to check this site when I'm heading up to the Health Mines. Too busy living life the rest of the time wink Walked 500 miles on the Camino a few months ago. That was pretty awesome. Who woulda thought that was possible when we were both a mess a decade ago wink Jachymov is on my bucket list as well. I go up to Montana once a year these days. One annual treatment works like a charm. No meds or Doctors the rest of the year and that suits me just fine. So happy to hear you are doing well. Made my day. Best...
