Dear Members:

Our site was down for previous three days, apparently due to reaching the new host's bandwidth limit.

I have been seeking a new webmaster, but it has been difficult to find someone capable and interested enough.

Please bear with us during this transition period; we may exceed our BW several more times before the problem is resolved as I just paid the host for another year.

HEALTH,
John

A quick and free way to reduce the bandwidth usage would be to use Cloudflare. Then all the images, CSS, and JS files are served from Cloudflare's servers which are usually the main contributors to bandwidth use.

Which host are you with at the moment? I do website development and hosting, I'd be happy to take at it if you need a hand with it.

Cheers

Was hoping the group hadn't gone offline permanently. Checked back on first day of the month to see if you all were back. Yea!

Thanks, jroc:

Our original host has changed or been absorbed at least twice. We are currently with Express Hosting (Total Server Solutions).

I will message You when I get a little more information together--Thank You.

HEALTH,
John

Cool, sounds good. Just PM me when you have more info.

I'm guessing you have one of these VPS plans? - https://expresshosting.net/products-services/virtual-private-servers/

With Bluehost their VPS plans have a bit more bang for your buck plus unlimited bandwidth - https://www.bluehost.com/products/vps

Or if you are already paid up for a year in advance and it isn't refundable, it should be possible to get the bandwidth use down significantly by using Cloudflare, plus using some htaccess rules to block dodgy bots and crawlers from accessing the site which use up a lot of bandwidth.

Cheers
