I used to use them a little more regularly, but it was mainly in response to a very strenuous workout where I was crazy sore (lactic acid sore, not inflammation sore). I'd prepare the bath tub, put a couple of drops of lavender oil, then soak.

Honestly, I never could perceive a material improvement from the epsom salt bath. I did, enjoy relaxing in a tub of hot water though. Particularly in the winter! I'd be skeptical about it being able to materially improve your arthritic conditions. Just my two cents.

If you try it, make sure to share your experiences as we are all different.

Hi Guys

I have also read that it helps but you have to soak in a bathtub and use like a a mason jar full...I read that it relaxes the muscles and eases pain....

I would also like to know if it works but its kind of difficult to get hold of a jar full normally....

Yes magnesium helps relax muscles. Put it in a hot bath and both the hot water and magnesium will ease those sore muscles, eg rib pains

Not really a way to reduce inflammation, can't even come close to the effectiveness of NSD for me. NSD takes the pain down to zero, and the stiffness is brought right down too.
