I walk, almost every day, about 2-3 miles a day, about 12 miles a week, about 50 miles a month...I know those numbers don't add up, so I guess I walk monday through friday pretty hard core and only maybe .5-1 mile a day on the weekends smile

Hi Team! clap

Oooooo I love the beginning of autumn weather. The trees are starting to get little patches of yellow. The weather is changing from 95F+ to <85F tomorrow! Just joined planet fitness today so I'll be back to the gym for the first time in a couple of YEARS. Whoop whoop!

Hi Everyone! grin

Now that the first few days of summer-to-autumn weather change is over I'm happy to be outside again. roll

I walked two miles yesterday with a friend, in the sunshine, and it was lovely!

Found this video online yesterday. I hope it helps educate MDs about the symptoms.

I thought it was interesting that he talks about shame because when I was younger I often felt ashamed of feeling ill, and definitely about being in pain.

Hello! grin

Wow, it's been nearly 2 months since I've been "here" and wow how things are changing in western Colorado! We finally got some rain after being dry for 6 months.

Wondering if anyone here practices QiGong? I've met a new friend who teaches it and it's been AMAZING for how my body feels. Yesterday he taught a short session at an annual event that I organize and people loved it so much.

Still walking around town daily and playing with my grandkids. I hope everyone stays well and happy during the holidays.

Moving into summer here... temperatures getting warm.

Keeping up with stretching daily, walking for 15-20 minutes in the morning as I get off the bus early and then walk rest of way to work with neighbor.

Hot summer temps here in Argentina. Over weekend invited to friend of my wife´s house that had a bit bigger pool. Could do a bit of lap swimming... also had ping pong table and played a few games (winning 2 of 3).

Best of all... in-laws have basket on their patio, I can shot some hoops now and again and feel like a kid again in the backyard. No jumping allowed as a bit too much for hips.

Keep on kicking

Hi Erica - is that the martial arts one or the soft one ?
I tried the martial arts one a few times, but ended up with very sore shoulders - they have small cuff tears, and as long as I don't do too much or carry heavy stuff, can get away with ignoring em...!
Any exercise where arms are more than shoulder high is out. A bit compromised ya might say.
Love yr cheery and forthright posts - gives people a true lift - you go gal clap

Hi Molly, QiGong is the super soft one. It's the same movements, but super slow and it can be done sitting down! yes

Yes, that would have been better for me. But the fella only did the fighting one, my shoulders complained, the rotator cuff tears said, 'desist'...!
Keep on Keeping on as you do gal - roll

That all sounds like bliss! I have a citizenship student from Argentina right now and he's rocking it out of the park!
