Took a 40 minute (~1.5mile) Christmas day walk. About 45 degrees and no wind so the weather was just about perfect for a walk.

Hi Team,

I want to extend my apologies to everyone for being out of touch for so long!

It worries me like crazy when I don't see someone for a while when I'm used to their presence. Please PM me if you'd like my email or phone.

Christmas was a mix of love and tragedy. Our own kids and grandkids had a safe and happy Holiday season, though a dear friend's daughter was gravely injured and is still in ICU after several surgeries.

Life is just so random sometimes. confused

I am VERY GRATEFUL for your presence in my life! heart All of you!

In other news, I've been swimming, doing yard/house work, shoveling snow, playing with the littles.

Peace to everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Go TEAM! clap

Walking and sawing wood by hand...since my chain saw quit!

Some years ago I exercised 70 minutes a day. lost weight, felt better and had energy to do more things.

I would love to go back to that much walking and exercise!

one hour walking / climbing the stairs / rowing at the Rec. C I did not feel very good but I felt better the longer I walked. I will try and mix in some swimming also.

I sure will miss Timo!

Shoveled snow Christmas morning (some one was dreaming of a white Christmas). Went to the gym a couple of time for the elliptical.

i haven't been posting here because i haven't been exercising, other than some careful stretching.

had a "mass" removed from my hand last week. stitches come out next week. they'll biopsy and let me know what it was. showed it to me, it was a sack of something....probably just a rheumatoid something they told me.

needed to elevate the hand for three days, then just needed to be careful so it'll heal up well. so far so good i think, but no humira for 3 weeks (1 before, 2 after)...so far ok, i took an aleve a day for the first three days, but then gastritis, so stopped, but too, i'll need it when it gets closer to needing the humira.

but i'm fine, it was just a minor surgery.

steve and lon,

thanks! smile

i had a doctors appointment today and so it was the first time i drove since i had the hand surgery. It was fine.

i have my hand wrapped without having my wrist wrapped, so the wound is protected but the tendonitis in my wrist is going away. seems like its healing well.

shopping and running errands. parked at the center of the parking lot and walked from one store to another, so quite a bit of walking. but don't know how far or how long...hours, but not continual walking.

Hi Everyone!

Good job swimming, chopping, walking, rowing, shoveling, yoga-ing, and general all around moving!!!

Sue, I hope your hand is feeling better by the minute!

I admit it, I'm a weather sissy. I've been "stuck" in the house for a few days, because I'm not comfy driving on snow/ice.

Anyway, I'm going to brave the outside world today to swim and do a few errands.

Here's a nice video of the beatiful little valley in which I reside.

GO TEAM!!!! clap
