Saturday and Sunday - I did climb down into a small river canyon. It was beautiful. But I was dizzy and had to take my time. Because of the dry weather, many smaller rocks were rolling out of the trail. But it is a good beginning and I hope to keep walking and exercising to this extent.
I was with a few boys from the church youth group. The outdoor fire and food was fun!
We did see elk and deer and birds and fish! Yes, the fish was so good on the open fire like that!
Go team go!

I keep the New Covenant, when I fail....I am pulled back into place by HIM.
I am living in the basement now. So more stairs to climb, which is generally ok, there are a few times I stop midway for different reasons, but I can tell the legs are a bit stronger already. I was on my feet 45 minutes with eh grandkids and Lola, walking and moving tat the park

I've found my best exercise is walking. I got a Fitbit and walk at least 10,000 steps/day. Often, I'm up around 15,000. Which is approximately 10 km. Most of the summer, I was walking about 10 km/day. During the years leading up to my two hip replacements, I had gained quite a bit of weight due to inactivity. I've lost 20 lbs of that since I've been able to get moving again. I haven't really changed what I eat. The weight gain and now loss seems to be entirely due to my mobility.
