Hi,
This is my first post smile.
So, I've been doing NSD for 3 months now.
I have started playing football again and hitting the gym regularly. Doctors were strictly against running and any gym activities but I thought I should give it a try since I was so much into sports before getting diagnosed.
I've been feeling better since I started football and gym again. Won't let my AS control me. smile

Feels great to be back on the pitch again. smile

Strict NSD : Fruit Juices, Boiled Chicken, Eggs, Greens.

Hi Sarvesh and welcome smile

Managed a lovely 9 mile walk up a moutain in the lakes two weeks ago. the weather was very windy but we made it to the top with a view before the clouds and rain descended. The long walk back to the start along a track into a raining headwind was character building. Can't say I had much energy or muscle strength but managed on muscle memory.

Also been up the hill a few times too. We have actually had a spell of good weather and managed some gardening and two barbecues too! Its gone cold again now though.

Saturday morning I set off on an 11 miles run. Just over 5 miles into the run I stumbled. I have road rash on my knee elbow, and hand. I got a cut above the left eye. I tried to run again, but the blood was flowing down my face faster when running. Some nice people saw me, and gave me a ride home. My wife said that is a sign that my running days are over. I now have a swollen black eye to help me remember the run.

Steve- I hope that you keep on running.
I know your wife is concerned......but the run seems to agree with you...
I cleaned Ann's gagage, washed my car and walked with the kids.

Long drive home tomorrow.

Saturday's run 5.5 miles. My right shoulder was sore by the time I finished. I talked with my neurologist this morning, she advised me not to run any more races. She did say I should keep running just not long distances. She also said not to worry about how fast I am.

Yestarday my local soccer team got promoted to the 1st division.
Next season we will be playing with Real Madrid and Barcelona.(maybe you´ve heard of them).
The party in the city was BIG. We had fun.

Afterwards we walked home. A good walk. We both reckon we are putting on too much weight and more exercise is necessary. Last night was a step in the right direction for both us and the team.
