Last night I swam 2000 metres. That´s 5500 since Monday. Now I have to concentrate on the bike for the weekend. Triathlon, yes its the running which puts me off the idea.
I forgot to say. I went to the hospital on Tuesday for my Remicade (Infliximab) and found that in the last 6 months I have lost 12 kilos or 28 pounds or 2 stone (whichever you prefer). Last night a girl called me mini Fergus. Life is goood. Enjoy
yesterday, walked around, errands, shopping, 2.5 hours, not sure how far,
then 1 mile, 20 minute walk in the evening: had to wait til the sun started to set as the eye doc put those drops in my eyes to do the testing, you know, the ones that make the pupils dilate so one can't see very well for the next few hours and everything is super bright.

Spondyloarthropathy, HLAB27 negative Humira (still methylprednisone for flares, just not as often. Aleve if needed, rarely.) LDN/zanaflex/flector patches over SI/ice vits C, D. probiotics. hyaluronic acid. CoQ, Mg, Ca, K. chiro walk, bike no dairy (casein sensitivity), limited eggs, limited yeast (bread)

Good job! I love this time of year, because I start to anticipate your fall photos!

And this week's inspirational video is.... [I know ~~~ I've share it before, but it's SO AWESOME!]

I am increasing my walking just a house or two every 2-3 days. I am having to increase it very slowly. I haven't walked yet today because of my first worship service since my surgery. Now it is too hot and I have to wait until later in the day.
I appreciate the encouragement and cheerleaders. :o)
Saturday, walked several hours: quarter mile from the parking to the local arts and crafts festival, around the festival, back to the car, through a little "health foods store", at a local farm market, grocery store. Many hours, not sure the mileage.
But good for both the back and the blood sugar.
Prior to Humira, due to my feet, would have been able to do one of those things. Certainly not all of them on the same day. By the end of the day, some hamstring or IT band tendonitis / tightness and a little SI joint pain. But compared to where I had been in the past, so much better.
Yay, Humira!

((Sue)) I am thrilled for you. It sounds like so much fun. I am thankful for Humira and that your body tolerates it so well.
I walked my half mile this a.m. and will go again when it cools off more later today. I am cooking again and did some laundry today. I know I am getting stronger.
Yesterday I repotted some plants on the patio. Hubby set them up on the table for me and he manhandled the bag of soil. It is so good to be even a little bit active. I read all you are doing and I am thrilled for you.
