Yes, they do. My kids certainly understand and even volunteer to have things at their homes except they give me the option because they know it means a lot to me to have them here. I have invited them over and at the last minute ordered pizza. They don't care. They just like to be together and have fun.

My hubby would just as soon skip the birthday celebration but I think we should celebrate every day.

Prayer is all we can do to help others. Kindness matters. I hope the Rhizotomy helps.

Hope your RF goes well and works out for you. I'm having my SI RFA redone on 15th--4th time at this level. Bilateral!!! OUCH. But it is worth the pain for the pain relief.

Sorry that it hurts you so much to do the cooking you love. frown

I don't know what we would do without prayer. That is what keeps us going.

Hugs.

Amen on the prayers....for all of us.

I can't even imagine what happens to you on this...from all the scar tissue caused by the heating of the nerve?? I wonder if each of us has a 'limit' somewhere of how many times we can have this done???? (As I prepare to do it a 4th time at the SI level.)

I don't know. He just said my back was so bad that that it would go down my legs and it already had the time before with the electricity and then the Phenol did too. Could not walk. Still can't much.

This will be bilateral in the Lumbar area. This is my first there. I hope it helps. Today has been the pits. Even dug around and found a big gun pill to take. Took the edge off.

We went to dinner with the kids/grands last night and we laughed so much and so hard that by the time we left my back was killing me. Never knew you could hurt yourself in the back laughing but it was worth it. S-I-L helped me out while hubby went for the car. We have the funniest kids/grands and their husbands. It was a wonderful evening and we had a great prayer time.

Appreciate you

Thank you Jeff. I have to believe that it will. Usually it makes me so sore for a few days. It has hurt so much the past few days that I think "sore" will feel good. :o)

I appreciate your friendship. :o)

Thanks for sharing JAM. I am glad you are doing so much better.

I hope you never have a need for your rheumy again. :o) I understand a long arthritis history. Mine started as a child and I am a LONG way from that now. :o)

Every time I've had the RF done on my SI, I dread the initial procedure pain. It's rough for up to a week, but the relief is so worth it. Next Friday, I'm doing it for a 4th time, bilaterally all at once. Leaves 10-16 holes and little bandaids afterwards. Hoping that doing it before the nerves are all grown back will be a good thing. laugh. I will have to work the next day, unfortunately. frown
