LOL, regarding swimming or not swimming in the shoes smile

Last night, walked ~ 30 minutes pacing the halls with a colleague. A late night break. New rule this year has been, if i'm gonna talk to someone, it might as well be while we're walking.

45 minute walk with Lola....

I also step up on every curb as I walk, increasing the work out. in other words I step into the gutter and then step up on the sidewalk curb.

that is part of the work out that allwed me to be in shape to walk in the woods...

I just joined the YMCA and they have a huge array of fitness machines. Been there 2 weeks now muddling around very, very slowly (on only 3 machines) and I have an appointment with someone today to go over each of the other 100 machines/weights to see if I can, or cannot, or even should not, use it.

Great idea! cheerleader

My dad used to walk 3 miles per day on grass, because it strengthened his ankles more than on flat sidewalk.

Awesome idea Sue! cheerleader

I've been using that to distract my HOA people from complaining to me as well. I say, "let's go for a walk" at the park and discuss, give me a call. And they NEVER do!
laugh2

I walked 2 miles today in my new barefoot shoes, and only stopped once to eat tacos.
grin

Go TEAM! clap

Today's run 3.3 miles in 33:24 minutes. I did walk across the bridge that goes over the Provo river. It was still snow packed. I was looking for a place to get some tacos, but didn't find any.

The gymnastic video's inspired me to post this one of me on a run across the floor. Not as clean as I used to be. Just kidding this is my son.

I tried to run up some stairs today (was late for a meeting) but my legs just got heavy like lead and almost fell-was really embarrassing because there was a room full of people there. I guess I know what I won't be doing for exercise!

Is that related to AS? Could it be my cholesterol medicine?

Erica,

geepers, now you got Orch buying and eating Tacos on the run.

Steve...I can hardly eat a taco with a plate and fork, let a lone on the run....

next Erica and steve will have us eating chili on the run....

Jamie - when I can, stairs are the quickest things to do to keep me fit.. at your own pace walk stairs every chance you get. I may have to stop after three...but then I can go again...

go team, go

I would run, like steve...but I have no one to tie my running shoes.... lol

Dow you slacker ...bust a move in the deep end of the pool!!!
