Thanks, Joyce and Jeff. Spent the early part of the day going to a meeting of the group I'm traveling with (with my mom and a mutual friend) on a cruise/tour of Alaska. It's only 25 days away!!! Drove home and helped my husband move some of his little project cars (Honda 600s) to a different spot so some concrete can be poured so he can keep them off the grass. It took too long to be able to go out to celebrate properly, but it helped him a lot. Tomorrow it's a rheumy visit in the morning (going to discuss how much steroid it could take to make me comfortable for this trip), then back to work in afternoon. Had my birthday off for first time in a while. Then have cervical epidurals on Friday. Two weeks later is lumbar epidurals. One week later, I sail.  (Is anyone in the Seattle area? I'll be in Seattle on evening of 9/14 with some free time.)

Meds: MTX since Oct 2009, 15mg/week--Started Humira March 2013
Epidural steroid injections x4; Lumbar radiofreq ablation
SIJ steroid injection and bilateral radiofreq ablation x4

Happy Belated Rumble, Glad you had a good birthday. Sounds like you are getting all geared up from your trip. I was going to ask you if you were coming up here to catch your cruise ship. I am 3 hours from there but that is too late for me to be driving. What day and time are you getting back. Let's hope that time works better.

Pea and Valsmum, thanks. I'll only be in Seattle on that one day, 9/14, with the evening free. The trip will end in Fairbanks and we fly back to Tulsa from there (thru Denver both ways).
But I'm having lunch with Angelmom (Lisa) next Monday!

Shooky Darns Rumble. Well when I make it to Wichita, it will happen. You guy's just have a wonderful trip. I wish you were going to come a few days earlier. I would have whipped you around the town and showed you all the pretty spots.
