Hi Everyone  Just got off the phone with the advocacy group that is handling my disability case. I started getting really nervous when he started reading the letter they just received from Social Security...when he got to the part where he said it was approved I almost fell off my chair.I thought I might have heard him wrong until he started telling me how the process moves forward from here. The only possible bad news is Social Security might not give me retro pay from April 27th forward. If that is the case I will not owe the advocacy group any money to handle my case. The Case Manager thinks payments should start in October, if that is the case, I can handle that. I am so excited!!! Of course when I tried to call my wife at work to tell her the news , the phones were dead at her work from a storm that just rolled through.I was able to get through to her on her cell phone. What a load off our minds. Now I can get on with my life. Thanks for being here to share the news with...My KA family now knows about it before the rest of my family knows. Thanks to everyone here who has given words of encouragement, prayers and support. You don't know how important you all are in my life.
