If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

I am sure hoping she will be able to help me. It is impossible to enjoy sex as my hips lock up making the experience embarrassing and painful at the same time.
My SI joints hurt to the touch. I have read Scoliosis can cause SI joint pain. Some days I feel areas of my spine aching as if I had done major twisting and lifting.
When I get up in the morning, my legs tighten in a spasm and sometimes cause leg cramps. Plus I am not sure if my legs will support me so I use my dresser as 'support' so I don't fall.
I know she is going to tell me to lose weight. Don't they always? Other than walking which does not raise my heartbeat, I have no other methods of exercise. Walking tires me out. I am always tired.
My appt. is coming up on Wednesday. Wish me luck.

Magic, you need to tell the rheumy exactly what you just told us. Perhaps in those very words. Especially that you are always tired. Being in pain all the time can cause that. Untreated inflammation can cause that.
As for exercise, it is important, but you can only do what you can do. Take it one day at a time. If you can only walk for one minute with any kind of pace, then do that 15 times a day and slowly build it up. It will help. It will take time and patience, but it will help.
Make a list of changes since your last appointment. Make a list of questions. Hand both of them to the rheumy when you walk in, OK?
Good luck at the appointment. Please let us know how it goes.
Love and hugs,

Good Luck!
Print out what you just wrote and give that to the doctor. It is succinct, honest, and to the point.

I dont know if this will help but try using a sit down excercise bike with a soft cushon for your back and rear end to decrease the pressure pain. Make sure its a sit down exercise bike not a regular one, thats looks like an outdoor bike. I use a bike regularly its great for mobility, cardio and weigh control. I lost 3o pounds in last 3 1/2 months on the bike and watching what I ate. Swimming would be the best excersise or at least water excersises as it takes alot of stress off the joints. It helped get me through a bad flare up b4 in my back. I regained all range of motion that was gone for months. If you have a bad heart im not sure u can do any of these things. Best to consult your doctor b4 going on any excersise routine. The excersise will help you feel better , but u need to find the right one for you . One that fits your pain tolerance, fitness level and needs.

Another important thing is that you need to give it time. Dont look for any results in the first 2 or 3 weeks. Give it at least a month b4 expecting results. You may get results from excersise sooner than a month but dont expect it. This way it keeps your morale higher when the results dont come right away. The body will adjust it just takes time. Good luck with everything.
Hope u feel better.
