If you want to use this QR code (Quick Response code) just save the image and paste it where you want. You can even print it and use it that way. Coffee cups, T-Shirts etc would all be good for the QR code.

Hi KickAS Family,
Thought I would pop in and let you know how things are going. All those who have had a positive story or advice have influenced me greatly. Since quitting work in April, I have lost 24 lbs.(another 5-6 lbs. to go!) and have felt better overall. I took up going to the pool almost every day for about an hour. I walk the length of the pool back and forth talking to the other swimmers. Thanks ErickK for that bit of advice. Feel much better the rest of the day if I get to the pool. I have also been working with a weighted pole(probably 7-8 lbs.) to work on maintaining flexibility. Changing my diet boiled down to making better food choices. The ultimate goal to strive for is eating all natural foods and staying away from starch by making a different choice. Without you guys I would probably never considered diet. If it wasn't for the AS and Fibro I am in the best shape of my life. It took me about two months to recover from working and I have slowly worked on getting my life back.
The Advocacy group that I am working with informed me that they will be receiving an answer by mail within the next two weeks regarding disability. Being that it was submitted only 3 months ago, means the answer is a decisive yes or no. Needless to say I have a definite knot in my stomach thinking about it. Hoping for the best...planning for the worse. Keep your fingers crossed...I am.
Thanks KA Friends

Good for you!! Water walking has helped me so much in the past. I hope to get back to it as soon as this Lupus flare calms down. Wow! what a weight loss! I am excited for you. Blessings. Possi

Jeff, that is the best news! I'm so glad to hear about these positive changes, caused by something that was so hard to do. Well done, sir!!
I'll keep my fingers crossed about disability.
Love and hugs,

You sound so much better than when you were working. Hope you keep getting better and better! My mom got a lot better too, when she took early retirement. She's doing better now than she has done since she was probably in her early 30s. Enjoy yourself, keep up the healthy behaviors, and fingers crossed for the disability benefits!
