i know someone mentioned something about psyllium supplements causing flares for some people?

i bought this bread called paleo bread, it is made with coconut flour, psyllium, egg whites and apple cider vinegar..
i have been doing the iodine test on everything and the bread passed the test, but i am starting to flare pretty bad today.

could the psyllium be the culprit? at this point i really feel like it could be anything... i cant really think of any food that i know for sure is not hurting me.

thanks,

kelly

Psyllium was horrible for me, I started to get an iritis attack when I tried it as a non-starch source of fiber. I quickly staved off the iritis with some over-the-counter naproxen, and have avoided it ever since.

Also I don't want to repeat myself too much in case you've been reading responses to other people in similar situation, but a short fast followed by elimination diet strategy is a good way to get a handle on the otherwise overwhelming problem of "what the hey IS safe for me to eat???"

I started out going by guidelines from the Carol Sinclair diet book, and that just did not work very well for me. The experimental approach has worked significantly better.
